Three signs of elder financial abuse

Sharing money, food and other resources is a key part of Indigenous culture, but unfortunately, people can sometimes take advantage of that. When an older person has money taken against their will, it’s called elder financial abuse.

 

In this short video made for the Commonwealth Bank and shared with the First Nations Foundation, Murringgy shares a few of the signs of elder financial abuse and how to protect yourself and loved ones.
