You may have recently seen the news about a major Optus hack that saw millions of peoples’ details leaked.
Unsurprisingly, customers have felt lots of different emotions, especially if they don’t know whether they are vulnerable or need to get their details changed.
Unfortunately identity theft has already been a growing problem in the First Nations community. Last year, more than $66 million was taken from Indigenous Australians, people who identified as culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD), and people with disability, a report from the ACCC shows.
